My redesign is called the Raijin Rifle (named after the Shinto god of thunder), incorporating a melee stun gun attachment as well as an automated air pressurizer. My goal was to make a weapon that was high tech yet still had the feeling of being welded together from scrap, complete with damage from past battles.
The gun was modeled in Maya/ZBrush, rigged and animated in Blender, and brought into Unreal Engine. The environment was created using a collection of modular parts I created for a previous environment project.
